What's shared and what stays yours

You share the planner, grocery lists, cookbook and chats. Your login, profile and cooking history stay your own.

Shared with your household

  • Planner: every week and every meal, in one planner.
  • Grocery lists: every list and template, including what's checked off.
  • Cookbook: favorites, folders, your own recipes and your variations. If one of you favorites a recipe, it's a favorite for both of you.
  • Chat: one shared set of conversations with Cook Well AI, including chats about a recipe. Cook Well AI can see the shared planner, lists and cookbook when it helps you.

Yours alone

  • Your sign-in email.
  • Your profile: your name and bio.
  • Your cooking history and the photos you add to it.

Changes show up for the other person the next time their app refreshes. If you're shopping together and don't see the latest list, pull down to refresh or reopen the app.
