Leave a household or remove someone
A member can leave at any time, and the owner can remove them. Everything you added together stays with the household.

Leave a household
If you joined someone else's household, go to Settings → Household and choose Leave household on your phone, or Leave on the web. Confirm, and you're back in your own kitchen.
Remove someone from your household
If you're the owner, go to Settings → Household and choose Remove next to their name, then confirm.
What happens next
- Everything either of you added while you were together stays with the owner's household: the planner, lists, cookbook and chats.
- The person who leaves goes back to their own kitchen, with whatever they had before they joined.
- They keep member access only if they have their own membership. The owner's membership isn't affected.
The owner can't leave their own household or hand it over to the other person. If you need that, email support@cookwell.com.
