This iconic pasta is the ultimate pantry meal. All you need is some dried pasta, olive oil, garlic, and some aromatics.

Ingredients

  • Pasta components

    • spaghetti
      225 g1/2 lb
    • extra virgin olive oil
      60 g
    • garlic
      , thinly sliced
      3-6 cloves
    • red pepper flakes
      to taste
    • parsley
      , finely chopped
      small handful

Method

Step 1: Boil the spaghetti

Bring a pot of water to . Add a large sprinkle of salt.

Boil the spaghetti until al dente.

  • Reserve a bit of pasta water before draining.

Step 2: Sauté the aromatics

Add the oil to the skillet.

the sliced garlic until golden brown, then add the red pepper flakes & them for a few seconds.

Step 3: Emulsify & serve

Add the cooked pasted to the pan, and toss with a few drizzles of pasta water until the oil forms a light and clings to the noodles.

Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve warm. Enjoy!
