Low Calorie Weeknight Burger
A quick and easy lower calorie burger.
Ingredients
Beef patty
- ground beef, 90/10125 g
- american cheese1 slice
- salt
Bun & toppings
- hamburger buns1
- ketchup
- dijon mustard
- red onions, diced
- pickles, sliced
- lettuce, shredded

Method
Step 1: Sear & smash the patty
Heat a griddle or a pan to high heat.
Shape the ground beef into a ball and place on the griddle. Sprinkle salt on top of the patty and smash it into the griddle, making it flat.
on one side until and crispy. Flip over the patty and place the slice of cheese on top. Cook the patty until browned on the other side, and the cheese has begun to melt.
Step 2: Assemble the burger
Add a squirt of ketchup and dijon to the bun and spread evenly. Add the diced onions, pickles, lettuce, and the cooked patty. Close the burger and enjoy.
